RECYCLED COTTON

How to take care of recycled cotton
Recycled cotton can be machine washed at a cold temperature of no more than 30 degrees. Use a washing bag when machine washing your garment and air dry with a hanger for a crease-free result. In-between washes, refresh your garment with a fabric refresher. You can also spot-treat stains by hand instead of laundering the whole garment.
OpéraSPORT’s recycled cotton is made from pre-consumer waste which comes from any excess material created during the steps of material- and product manufacturing, e.g. selvage from weaving, fabric from factory cutting rooms, or excess production and unsold items that might normally be disposed of as waste. The used materials are then shredded back into fiber form and spun into renewed yarns.
Using recycled cotton reduces the demand of water and chemicals in production, as well as reduces demands on new raw materials. It prevents useful materials from being wasted and helps to reduce
carbon emissions.
